Ask a Fashion Model was recently sent some samples of a new mascara on the market: L’Oreal Double Extend Beauty Tubes Mascara. To offer you a more complete review of this product, both myself, and model Christina Voll, tested it out.
Christina’s Review:
- It lasts for a really long time — I wore it for a whole day and it was just as good as when I put it on
- It never smudged
- There weren’t any clumps
- Made my lashes look a lot longer and made them more curved
- I didn’t like that it was hard to take off because it would stick to your lashes
- I didn’t like the fact that it came off in flakes because some of your lashes would come off as well
- Over all, I thought the mascara was really great quality and long lasting, I would use it again
Jennifer’s Review:
- I found my lashes looked a bit dry and flakey
- It did lengthen my lashes somewhat, but not in a dramatic way
- It does not seem to wash off with water as easily as it claims to
- It did not thicken my lashes to the extent I usually like to see from a mascara
- When I used the white, pre-mascara step from Beauty Tubes, and then Maybelline’s Full n Soft mascara over top, I liked the results much better
- Overall, I thought it was an okay mascara, but not one that I would buy or use again
